Collaborative Pong is a simple commentary on gaming interfaces and gaming motivations. It was created by modifying the rules of Pong, one of the most popular arcade games ever produced.

Despite its status as a classic, the circular motion of the control knob on the original Pong game machine does not correspond with the up/down movements of the paddles. Collaborative Pong lets players move around in circles in the same way the knob is turned, creating a more direct relationship between interface and game action. Instead of playing against each other, players collaborate on keeping the balls inside the circle. The game can be played by up to sixteen players simultaneously.
