Commemorative coin for the 2008 Global Financial Crisis. A penny was scanned at 12800 dpi resolution. The words 'liberty' and the year of fabrication was removed, leaving only 'in God we trust', which seems to accurately summarize the situation in the world's financial markets. The file was then printed on a 44 inch wide paper roll, glued to a piece of foam core and trimmed.

The commemorative coin was produced in an edition of one, but you are encouraged to download the image (20 MB) and make your own if you please. If you do, send me an image of your work, and it will be prominently displayed on this very page.
